You will not be disappointed.Dickerson Park Zoo is a self-guided walking tour with a wide variety of animal exhibits. I would highly recommend this place to everyone as I always have. And the animals that are there are as friendly as can be (except for the deer who are not quite used to the concept of approaching cars to be fed). While there aren't currently as many animals, there are plans to get more after the subdivision is built. The signs are new and there are many other improvements. They have all new animals (except for my favorite one - a little pony who they could not catch so they just let him stay and was the second animal to greet us at the gate). The animals look healthier and the place itself is a lot cleaner and well kept. After reading a previous review I was a little worried that it would be changed or not as good as it was, but to my surprise it is better. The buyer of the land decided to clean up the place and open it up again. My friend was visiting Branson a few weeks ago and informed me that it was open again under the name "Animal Paradise". This was my favorite place to visit and living just 2.5 hours from it, I visited frequently. I was deeply saddened when I found out that Exotic Animal Paradise was closing back in 2006.
